Light, an orb in the sky. The emanation seen, felt, dread, dealt eye on me. It’s gaze zeroed in, feel the crosshairs survey my skin. The quarry now I am. I was lost in shadow years and twilight scenes and brook no coppices clear for growth. (the pines kept looking down on the single glade I have. In a haunted wood I sit entrenched in every way. Awaiting the day). Awaiting. The light calling out to us all. Hand the children diamonds. Will they understand? Give the finites forever to conceive what really is at hand. One can only hope home lies there just beyond the veil, once these eyes have closed. I am a polarized soul. (North Star above, yet eyes kept the low) self tormented from all directions I spin. The path made so clear, what’s so simple I truly do fear. (Diamond sun plea). I’ve run full tilt, a lifetime’s worth, with pride, medications and all things of this earth. I’ve seen bright shine and shadows fall and witnessed minds dissolve. We were boys raised near the coasts of eterna. The paradisal hills by the sea. Not meant to fear, run, despair or be victims (of the) starless weight of this reality. I still feel the tides, vast oceans of time, and at the heart the moon’s unending light.
